China's innovation ecosystem is the fastest-moving in the world — and the hardest to enter. InnoLink puts European institutions and companies inside it, succeeding on their own terms. A decade in Beijing, trusted by the European Commission and Volkswagen Group alike.
Forum on Mobility of Researchers to China · BeijingEuropean organisations arriving in China hit the same wall every time: the regulations, the platforms, the procurement systems, the unwritten rules. InnoLink was founded in 2014 by Halldór Berg Harðarson to get them over it — fluent in EU institutional culture and Chinese operational reality.
We hold the contracts, hire the people, book the venues, file the paperwork, run the WeChat accounts, and deliver the programs. We are not consultants who write decks about China. We are operators who execute in it.
Audi China needed a startup incubator built from zero — student recruitment across Chinese universities, a multi-week bootcamp with industry experts, and a Demo Day with live VR. InnoLink designed and delivered the entire program, plus the film crew, CGI and livestream that carried it to Audi audiences worldwide.

Since 2015 InnoLink has operated the European Commission's researcher network in China — events, careers support, funding trainings and a 6,500-member community, delivered year after year under contract via Pracsis, Brussels.
The China-EU Research & Innovation Stakeholders Tour — four nationwide editions built together with China's Ministry of Science & Technology, bringing European and Chinese researchers, funders and institutions to the same stage in 28 cities most European organizations have never set foot in.
Science Slam China on a candlelit VR stage. European Researchers' Nights in four cities. Venture Cup national finals in Wenzhou, Shanghai and Beijing. Funding webinars with the ERC, Horizon info days for DLR, forums, trainings, receptions — a decade of formats invented, staged and delivered.
End-to-end ownership: budgets, procurement, compliance, reporting, delivery. EU-grade paperwork, China-grade execution.
Bootcamps, conferences, competitions, delegations — from 20-person roundtables to 800-person national finals.
Corporate film with animation for unreleased products, event coverage, multi-city streaming.
Virtual reality demo days, 3D visualisation, hybrid formats connecting Beijing with Brussels.
WeChat, Weibo, Douyin and Bilibili on one side; LinkedIn, X and YouTube on the other.
Working relationships with MOST, CAST, CSTEC and local science bureaus across China.
Your compliant local entity: hiring, work permits, visas, office operations — no incorporation needed.
Stakeholder mapping, surveys, policy input for European institutions engaging with China.
InnoLink (北京欧中创桥科技有限公司, Beijing Europe-China Innovation Bridge Technology Co., Ltd.) is an innovation management and project management agency based in Beijing, China, founded in 2014. We specialize in helping European institutions, companies and research organizations design, launch and run innovation programs inside China — from corporate startup incubators and accelerator bootcamps to research networks, science communication campaigns and government-partnered event series.
Since 2015 we have operated the EURAXESS China hub for the European Commission, supporting a network of more than 6,500 researchers with career events, funding trainings on Horizon Europe, ERC and Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions, and researcher mobility services. For Audi China and Volkswagen Group we designed and delivered the Horizons Beyond innovation incubator, including university team recruitment, expert-led bootcamps, VR demo days and corporate film production. With the China Science and Technology Exchange Center (CSTEC) and China's Ministry of Science and Technology we co-organized four editions of the China-EU Research and Innovation Stakeholders Tour, reaching 28 cities and over 5,500 participants.
Our services cover innovation program management, event production and conference organization in Beijing, Shanghai and across China, corporate incubator and accelerator design, EU-China research cooperation support, science communication, film and livestream production, VR and hybrid event technology, dual-track social media management (WeChat, Weibo, Douyin, LinkedIn), government and partner relations, market entry representation, and local hiring and work permit support for foreign organizations in China.
